To all those who have consecrated and dedicated a liberal share of their lives and fortunes to the advancement and general dissemination of science and especially to those who have devoted such effort and substance to the dissemination of the science of chiropractic, and to all those who shall come in like spirit in the future, and to the millions everywhere who are suffering for the application of the principles of chiropractic, their book is respectfully dedicated. It is this dediction that brought me to the realization that Willard Carver of Carver Chiropractic College in Oklahoma City Oklahoma was speaking prophetically of myself and so many others whom have devoted their fortunes and lives to the advancement of Chiropractic. The object of my devotion being the suffering of the person I have named humankind and the method of restoring nerve impulse that I have found so effective as to be called miraculous by the patients whom have received its benefits. Of  myself alone I=m only capable of  curing and relieving but a small fraction of the suffering of Humankind, but with the teaching and educating of  neuro adjusting Humankind will find hope and relief of immense pain, visceral dysfunction and the psychological torments they bring.

The physiological aspect of the intelligent element is that it acts through matter, but that matter is not a necessity to its existence. In other words, the intelligent element is original and creative, and that matter is but the vehicle through and by means of which it operates. Pg16

Dr. Carver is recognizing this intelligent element as the creator of the universe and that this original, creative, intelligent force acts through us as we provide the vehicle through which it operates. This is one of the most important aspects of healing as we recognize this force as being intelligent we have need to allow this intelligence to correctly proceed to healing. The tendency of the body is to restore or return to health with the full allowance of this intelligence to create health not disease. From the beginning of creation we are guided by this intelligence to create a human form in homeostasis or as near to it as age and environment will allow us to be.

SCIENTIFIC CHANGES RENDERED NECESSARY

Society will get along with what it has until forced by circumstances, to recognize the necessity for change. When the emergency for change occurs and the recognition of the newly discovered truth becomes general, society is shocked that it did not sooner recognize the fact.   pg 17

In Carver=s time the scientific changes necessary were the anatomical nerve relationships to the spine and organs due to the obvious visceral impact that was being observed by addressing nerve occlusions primarily at the spinal level.                  

In our time it is the need to provide society or humankind a form of treatment that will once again provide the energy to the nervous system sufficient to remove not just spinal misalignments but nerve occlusions which are the greater form of disease, and in doing so not harm the care giver with the harmful effects of negative recoil energy into the hands wrists etc..  Nerve occlusions or blockages are created by any number of chemical toxins, drug toxins, emotional hormonal imbalances, nutritional deficiencies or physical injury (chronic or acute) to the spine itself. This means that a physical misalignment of a bone is only one cause of a nerve occlusion causing pain or visceral dysfunction.

A technique that focuses on these misalignments of bone therefore is woefully lacking in its ability to remove even a portion of the distress of this person mankind. A discipline that is centered in removing nerve occlusion is rather addressing the cause and cure of his agony.

Humankind is now at the apex of his production never before seen in history. He or she is experiencing physical demands from work, toxins and stress that leave so many in severe pain, fatigue and visceral dysfunction they have sought correction for and found none. Medicine and the promise of drugs have fallen short, Humankind is looking for answers. Chiropractors have been saddled with adjusting procedures designed for aligning bones and instruments simply incapable of producing the type of force which the origins of Chiropractic was blessed with, that is kinetic energy transfer or toggle recoil adjusting. The emergency for change is here and when the recognition of the newly discovered truth becomes general, Chiropractic and society will be shocked, that no one saw it earlier.

Nerve stimulus is an original, elemental energy. It is not manufactured. Generated, or composed, but has a continuous non-varying, eternal existence, not differing in that respect from electricity. However not electricity nor like it quite the contrary. But the origin is from the same source, and is as bountiful as electricity. It is an intelligent energy, emanating directly from the central intelligence of the universe, or Creator. The most important function of the brain is to collect, by what process can only be conjectured, this elemental, original energy, and concentrate it into certain (nerve) channels, which transmit it to every atom of the organism. pg 40

Our life existence, a life free of debilitating pain and life longevity is in the transmission of nerve stimulus or the transmission and eventual expression of that nerve stimulus into every cell. We know that the brain contains systems which monitor every vitamin, mineral and hormone level in every area of the body. In particular it regulates the blood vascular system, maintaining proper amounts of these essential elements for the maintenance of life. This ensures the existence of primary life function however at the risk of other areas of the body. For example it is easy to see osteoporosis on x-ray and yet see calcium levels in the blood work values normal. . The blood will maintain proper levels at the detriment of the bones. In fact, it will even robbing other areas of needed nutrient for survival. A patient not taking supplements in this toxic and demanding day is a patient slowly breaking down in the skeletal, liver and hormonal areas, resulting in pain, arthritis, fatigue lower quality of life and premature aging. The body is on auto pilot to these functions yet is in a state of disease. Any state of disease results in nerve occlusion. A nerve occlusion is any occlusion or blockage of a chemical, toxic, emotional, physical osseous, hormonal or mineral irregularity that causes a complete or less than complete or abnormality of the nerve stimulus. The restoration of the energy responsible for the origin of the first embryonic cell which directed that cell from the lowest form of existence a single cellular organism to the immaculately created being must be restored for the intelligent direction of healing to the area or areas in need. This healing can be immediate as in the restoration of nerve stimulus down an arm and the instantaneous removal of radiating pain into that arm and hand or the beginning of healing of the organ which the nerve innervates. Willard Carver is surely relating this intelligent energy from the creator and thereby relating the phenomena of healing to a directed intelligence beyond our body’s innate capability. Many have related the process of healing to a higher authority. Dr. Jim Parker also wrote of the power that made the body heals the body and that healing comes from above down inside and then out. Many may argue the scientific evidence of such a phenomenon.  However such is neither scientifically proven nor disproved. It is this author’s highest call to the doctor to acknowledge his role as a facilitator of a higher power. When working with the nerve stimulus of a human being you are facilitating intelligent, creative design. Unashamedly I say, when you grasp the handle of the Air Adjustor or deliver a hand or thumb pulsed recoil adjustment, you are becoming the hand of God. Let this be in the mind of the doctor upon every adjustment.

                                                                       
The other important function of the brain is the production of the mind ...which .is a direct emanation from this original or kinetic energy.  Pg 40

Here Dr. Carver is citing kinetic energy as the type of energy which emanates from the brain and travels through the spine to the cells of the body. We know that energy travels down a nerve by an action of a positive charge chasing a negative charge as the nerve polarizes and depolarizes thereby traveling intelligence to the cells of the body. The nerves are the highways of intelligence when this intelligent energy is disrupted partials, we experience pain, when it is disrupted more complete we experience numbness and muscle weakness. Lastly, full cessation of nerve impulse results in paralysis.  Kinetic energy is simply energy of motion and although this may seem at first to be a small thing it is kinetic energy that is the hallmark of the toggle recoil adjustment, kinetic energy is the phenomenon seen with Newton=s cradle. When one ball suspended by wire, is let go on the cradle it strikes the next and the energy is transferred kinetically from one to the next to the next. None of the balls move but the last. This conservation of energy is the method by which we can deliver a comfortable adjustment with the Kinetic Air Adjustor and still provide the stimulus to repolarize the nerve. The energy is transferred from the Air Adjustor which contains a recoil mechanism, through to the skin, to the fat, to the muscle, connective tissue and bone and finally to its intended purpose. That purpose is to provide a stimulus of pulsed kinetic energy sufficient to re-fire a nerve and resolve pain or return nerve conductance to any organ of the body. The pain will leave as fast as the nerve conductance is returned. This is the near miraculous pain relief seen by the patients of neurologically focused adjusting by the Kinetic Air Adjustor since it is the only handheld instrument designed to recoil like a toggle. Revolution in technology of the toggle recoil adjustment mechanism in the Air Adjustor provides us with the vehicle that enables us to see many of the truths of the past.                                                                         

The function (of brain cells) is performed under the direct influence of nerve stimulus.

It is the function of nerves to receive from the brain cells the stimulus collected by them and convey it to many points of concentration, throughout the body, and from thence to the celltissues of the entire organism. Chiropracticly, a nerve is a single filament or thread, beginning at a cell in the brain and ending at a cell in the tissue, pg41 AThere are 25 cranial nerves and 12 pair and the last being the spine itself.

For test purposes we know that there are 12 pair or 24 cranial nerves. However, Carver saw the spine as an extension of the brain and he is right. The spine is not a distinct organ with a separation from the brain. It is the extension of the brain carrying its nerve stimulus to the rest of the body. The brain forms into the brain stem at the first cervical vertebrae and then continues down the spine as that part of the brain called the spinal cord. There is no physical separation from the brain and spinal cord. When restoring the nerve stimulus by treating the nervous system at the level of the spine, it is well said to remind the doctor that he is restoring brain transmission. Here Carver sees that the treatment focus for a Chiropractor extends to the end cells, arm, fingers, legs, toes or even organs to which the brain first intended its intelligent nerve stimulus.

The principle function of the brain is that of collecting the original, elemental energy.

When a mind true to itself finally comes to this point of truth it is inescapable. One must come to the awesome realization that from the simplest form of life, a single cellular organism, we are directed by this unseen creative, intelligent force until this most complex being we call human kind has come forth. To come to any other conclusion is to be untruthful with the inner witness and mindful only of ones pride in self. Are we not mindful of chromosomal directions and control of our formation? Absolutely not, it only serves to further assure oneself of the intelligence that directs the chromosomes to our final outcome.

Frank Antonino: The first structure formed from conception is the neural tube of which there is no distinction or separation of the brain and spinal cord but one contiguous unit.

Intelligent creative force then we call nerve stimulus then gives its first directive to the chromosomes to form a pathway by which it can work and aces all areas of the forming cellular mass. If the first directive of intelligence is to form the neural tube is it not then the pre-eminent organ. The spine, being but an appendage of the brain is seen by intelligence as primary, Shall we not also recognize the primary nature of this cerebral appendage. A clear pathway for intelligent, creative nerve stimulus is paramount in our development; a clear pathway for intelligent creative nerve stimulus is paramount in our present function and survival. Pain is but a warning sign for nerve occlusion, the cessation of nerve stimulus and the initiation of cellular death.
