Pulsed Alpha Wave Technology

Alpha Wave is a continuous harmonic beat frequency of 7 to 14 pulses per second. The Alpha Air Adjustor is the only Chiropractic instrument with this technology. While some electric instruments will vibrate for a few seconds only the Alpha Air Adjustor combines the technology of recoil, which gives the ability to produce a sustained pulse comfortably to the patient with the amazing Alpha wave frequency.

 Alpha frequency is defined as “arising from synchronous and coherent (in phase/constructive)” waves.

This means that an instrument must be able to deliver this type of wave. This naturally precludes a short 2 second blast, which is inherently incapable of delivering a coherent in phase pulse or a rough and unadjustable vibratory type force. Recoil technology allows the pulse to alter its impact to each patient, bringing it " in phase" with the patient. There can be many out of phase and destructive vibratory forces. Yet an in phase/constructive alpha force with the patient can achieve amazing results. Using the wrong  or out of sync instrument would be like trying to force yourself on the neurological highway by ramming your way on with a Mac truck. However, by producing the right amplitude or pitch with the right frequency, we can simply enter the nervous system by the on ramp and assume a place within the flow of the nervous system 

Alpha wave is reported to cause deep relaxation, sedation and stimulate endorphin release.

Alpha wave provides almost immediate pain relief. Endorphins are the body’s pain killers and are released at 7 to 14 pulses per second or Alpha frequency.

Mu wave “ An alpha-like normal variant called mu (u) wave is seen over the motor cortex and attenuates with movement…”Mu (u) wave oscillations are seen over the sensor motor cortex and are thought to reflect motor neuron activity. Placing the patient in therapeutic activities( CPT code 97530) while pulsing the nerve root activates the Mu wave at the motor cortex, thereby obtaining the desired results at the motor neurons. Simply put, the Alpha / Mu wave placed at the proper nerve root innervation can relieve muscle hyper tonicity, spasm or dysfunction in a distant limb (see Alpha Pulse Technique) by Dr. Frye

Can Alpha wave only be produced by electric stimulation? (7 to 14 Hz)

The brain functions with Alpha Wave patterns. Brain frequency is found at 7 Hz. or pulses/cycles per second. Carver (1909)said the brain did not produce this energy but we receive it.  In addition, the earth itself, alpha pulses at an historical 7 pulses per second called the Schuman frequency or window frequency of the earth @ www.Brainsync.com.  Lastly, alpha sound resonance frequency of 7 to 14 Hz. have been recorded just before tornadoes touch down as well as just prior to earthquakes and even volcanoes! @ www.keelynet.com  Therefore, Alpha frequency is obtained by pulse waves, sound waves, brain waves or electrically produced waves.

Biblically speaking, the Israelites marched (stomping) around the walls of Jericho 7 times a day for 7 days. The last day they blew loud horns and the walls came tumbling down. It is this author’s suggestion that the 7’s were Alpha range as the sound from the horns reached a low pitch d flat note ( 8.66 Hz.) with such intensity that an earthquake like shaking occurred!

What does all this mean?  The primary goal must be then not to just vibrate with some electric jigsaw because improper frequency, intensity or octave will not result in  therapeutic effectiveness. Alpha Wave intensity must be comfortable, sustained and in phase for the body to accept it and utilize its miraculous neurological properties. The Alpha Air Adjustor pulses at an harmonic resonance alpha D flat.  This resonance is soothing or comfortable and the "in phase" pulse can be sustained as needed.   

EXAMPLE: A base clarinet, which is in the same range as the Alpha Air Adjustor produces 8.66Hz at a D flat. A flute however, is a much higher range or octave than a base clarinet or the Alpha Air Adjustor.  At the octave or intensity of a flute, a D flat produces a much higher frequency, well out of Alpha Wave. A flute is of course not harmful but does not contain the healing properties of alpha wave. In other words, not just any instrument has the pitch, harmonic balance and pulse intensity to reach and sustain a prolonged Alpha Wave stimulation necessary for therapeutic effectiveness.

Really “out there” information on Alpha Wave Frequency.

  There is much theory concerning Alpha Wave frequency and the universe. There is a lot of great wordy philosophy. I’ll boil it all down to this. They hypothesize that not only the frequency of the earth pulses at Alpha wave frequency but that the sun and universe as a whole do as well. These sometimes-fanatic groups postulate that the energy emanates from the center of the universe at twenty-two times a second and sends its pulse out to every star or sun and then to each planet and then to every individual on the planet at Alpha wave frequency.

 Wait a minute, isn’t that what Dr. Carver (CarverChiropracticCollege) said in 1909? Isn’t he the one that said the brain is not the creator of our nerve stimulus or energy but that it is a receiver of this original elemental constant nerve stimulus emanating from the creator of the universe? Wow!
