Gold Frankincense and Myrrh

The Scientific evidence of a “Miracle Formula” from the Bible.
Biblically, Gold Frankincense and Myrrh was given to Christ at his birth. It was esteemed higher and cost more than pure gold.  Frankincense is considered the ‘holy anointing oil” and well known for its healing powers for centuries. Myrrh is referenced Biblically as purifying oil for women. Esther 2:12 Biblically these herbs are well documented however, Dr. Frye has been given revelation on scripture concerning the uses of Frankincense and Myrrh and will offer scientific evidence of its actions proving not only the scripture but giving even further indications of its incredible importance in your health today.

Mathew 2:11 “…And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary His mother…and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto Him gifts: gold, frankincense, and myrrh”

Song of Solomon1:13 “A bundle of myrrh {is} my well beloved unto me: he shall lie all night betwixt my breasts”

Song of Solomon 4:5-6 Thy two breasts are like two young roes……Until the day break, and the shadows flee away, I will get me to the mountain of myrrh and to the hill of frankincense.

In these scriptures we see the reference to gold, frankincense and myrrh as a great treasure or gift as well as a constant reference of frankincense and myrrh to the breasts.

Is there any scientific relationship to the breasts and these herbs?
Myrrh is cited by the PDR of essential oils as being hormone like. Additional studies have been done on Myrrh’s hormone like capability. Breast Cancer is known to be an estrogen fed cancer. There is however a difference in estrogens. Studies show that the weaker phyto estrogens like myrrh do not increase tumor growth and in fact, being hormone like are able to bind to estrogen receptor cites and block the stronger or toxic estrogen from causing tumor growth. In addition, the body recognizes the presence of the phyto estrogen (Myrrh) and reduces its own production of estrogen.

In the scripture what is reference to “the shadows fleeing away?”
Not only is this referring to the day light coming but notice that these shadows are fleeing away. Darkness fleeing away is symbolic in many different ways; first darkness can be darkness of the mind or depression. Secondly, darkness can refer to sickness or even cancer.

Do Frankincense and Myrrh have any effect on depression?
Scientific evidence of Myrrh’s affect on the hormonal regulation and the depression and mood swings that come with hormone imbalance are well documented. As stated Myrrh is hormone like. Myrrh as a phyto-estrogen is accepted by the body and will fill estrogen receptor cites. An estrogen deficient woman will receive the benefit of the phyto estrogen and the hormone balance it provides. A woman deficient in progesterone is essentially a woman with too much of the stronger (toxic) estrogen. If there is too much of the stronger estrogen in the body, the phyto-estrogens influx will cause a lowering of the production of estrogen and allow the relative progesterone levels to increase. This unique capability of Myrrh, gives it the label of an adaptogen with the capability to balancing the hormones and the mood swings that come with it. In addition, Frankincense and Myrrh aroma affects the limbic system that influences mood.

What about the darkness of cancer? Could the darkness of cancer flee from Frankincense and Myrrh?

Frankincense again is cited by the PDR of essential oils as being anti tumoral.  However, is there any scientific evidence that Frankincense aids in the fight against cancer?
Terpenes are a major chemical constituent of Frankincense. Scientific studies on Terpenes have revealed that they are cytotoxic, (toxic to cancer cells). Further evidence suggests that Frankincense will cross the blood brain barrier which means that it is an excellent carrier oil and can have its anti tumoral effects throughout the body. One of the difficulties in treating cancer is that the cancerous cell has a defective cellular respiration and cell wall transport system.  Frankincense having the ability to cross the blood brain barrier is an excellent carrier of the cytotoxic terpenes across the cancer cell barrier. This process is much like a natural chemo treatment. Researchers state that the terpenes and sesquiterpenes in Myrrh and Frankincense are in food and are likely to not be toxic to normal cells.

Myrrh is also an anti-cancer agent. A specific species of Myrrh was tested against a human breast tumor cell line (MCF-7) known to be resistant to anticancer drugs. Research data indicated that the extract of Myrrh killed all the cancer cells in laboratory dishes. Further investigations found that myrrh killed cancer cells by inactivation a specific protein, called Bcl-2, which is over produced by the breast and prostate. Overproduction of this protein makes cancer cells more resistant to chemotherapy. This gives rise to the possibility not only of Frankincense and Myrrh being a wonderful God given cancer treatment but also in aiding those, which choose chemotherapy as well. This also gives evidence to the benefit of Frankincense and Myrrh in cancer of the prostate as well as breast.

Another group of anti-cancer drugs are being developed using the anti-inflammatory effect of blocking the actyl co-A enzyme, which results in the deactivation of PKB-AKT kinase enzyme. The result is to remove the growth factor, which can stimulate tumor growth and thereby induce apoptosis (cellular death) of cancer cells. Myrrh’s terpene chemistry has been researched and found to be an anti-inflammatory, which also blocks actyl-co A enzyme and therefore the growth factor for cancer. Another potent blocker of the enzyme growth factor and stimulator of apoptosis (cancer cell death) is Cummin. Cummin could also be an important aid in the fight against cancer.

What about gold?  Does it have any anti-cancer effects?
Gold attaches to albumin in the blood stream and undergoes thyol exchange reactions then is absorbed into the cells.  Once absorbed into the cell, gold is proposed to be linked to anti-mitochrondrail activity and thereby induces cell apoptosis or cellular death of cancer cells.

Gold is also currrently being used in cancer treatment with radio frequency waves. 

How would you use Frankincense and Myrrh?
Dr. Frye was given further revelation that the Bible actually gives us the correct formula to use with Frankincense and Myrrh! The scripture reads “….a mountain of myrrh and to the hill of frankincense” We are given the relative doses of a large (mountain) amount of myrrh and a smaller (hill) of frankincense in addition to the treatment directions which are to be applied topically at bedtime.

Gold Frankincense and Myrrh have anti cancer properties that include:

• Cytotoxic effects to cancer cells
• Inactivation of Bcl-2 protein that is overproduced by cancer cells.
• Inactivation of Bcl-2 protein that makes cancer cells resistant to chemotherapy.
• Research shows effectiveness against Breast and Prostate cancer. Note: This does not eliminate other forms of cancer as well.
• Induces apoptosis or cellular death of cancer cells.

Danger signs ahead. Medicine and scientific research has only now proven out what God has given to us thousands of years ago. Recent research into the effectiveness of these herbs has given rise to the application of patents to make a medical drug for cancer treatment. It is important to recognize the use of Frankincense and Myrrh as a religious ceremony that has a Judeo-Christian history of over 4,000 years. This knowledge was given to us by Solomon, the son of David who above all things prayed to God for wisdom to rule a people so great. You are the people so great that Solomon prayed for and the knowledge of His scripture that Dr. Frye has been given special insight into. The Biblical presentation of these herbal essential oils and their historical and religious use for the purification of the body and soul are well documented. Careful attention must be given by Christians and the Jewish people to be alert to any governmental restriction of the use of these potent herbs as they are well established in the treatment of disease and purification for thousands of years. Only now is medicine catching up to the wisdom of God.
